Motorcycle ecu flash near me4/11/2024 The bike is fully capable of putting a careless/stupid rider in the hospital in a hurry, just as a fast sportyish liter class bike should be. The throttle grip is cabled to the primaries and without ECU controlled fun police nanny secondary butterflies, it is smooth and yet immediate and manic. The FZ1 has an Akra full exhaust and had its secondary butterflies removed with ECU mapping to match. Giving up a few HP on that bike's top end, but the ADV bike is not really about top end anyway. The Super T has a Yosh can on it and the uncorked 270 degree twin sounds wonderful, but still wears it's CAT, so I am not feeling bad about it's pollution levels. Flashing both bike's ECUs made a massive improvement, making their systems feel like an always perfectly dialed set of analog carbs - creamy, smooth and responsive. The Race Tools package allows you to enable Quickshifter, Launch Control and Pit Speed Limiter in the Stock ECU. Race tools has been added to the Woolich Racing Tuned (WRT) software for the 2021-2023 Yamaha MT-07. My '14 Super Tenere was annoying, my '06 FZ1 was so bad it was actually bordering on dangerous in this regard. View products and features available for Triumph Trident 660 2020-2023 on our products page. we are here to solve all your service and performance modification needs we take our clients dreams and make them a reality. My experience is with Yamahas, which suffer from on/off jerky throttle response. black widow dyno is you motorcycle and auto tuning power house. A more thorough power run, with up to an hours time on the dyno we will work with you to test power through any area of the bikes revs/throttle opening, and advise on the overall health of the engine, gearbox, cooling system etc. You only have to send your ignition/injection system to our company. The older piggyback tuners did not have the blocked off "EPA" area on their tables. Carmo electronics is able to repair a defective ignition and injection system very accurate and reliable. “I want to know what each individual cylinder is doing.” To do this, Pathak installs individual sensors at the header pipes, as far upstream as possible, and especially before the exhaust gasses reach any cross-over pipes. Unless you have a single-cylinder motorcycle, the sensor is located so far downstream that you’re getting an average reading from all the cylinders. While many aftermarket exhausts will have a bung to attach an O2 sensor and read the air/fuel mixture, the reading you’ll get from it is generally useless information. Typically a Power Commander will only alter your fueling and enable quick shifting. A quick peek at the air/fuel ratio throughout the rev range could also clue us in on spots to improve.Īs the saying goes, the devil is in the details, and it’s here that Pathak clues us in on a fallacy. An ECU flash is far more comprehensive in its ability to alter your motorcycle. If the ECU Doctor and his team achieve that mission, then we are happy. Dips, flat spots, and irregularities generally point to areas of improvement. We are not out to depress the trade of any main agent garage, but to put private motorists with ECU problems swiftly back on the road. Peak power and torque are fun numbers to talk about, but Pathak is more curious about the entire curve. Step 4: Turn OFF the ignition KEEPING throttle wide open. Step 3: With the throttle held fully open, turn ON the ignition (but don’t start the engine) and allow all checks to complete (approx 20 seconds). all you need to do on new bikes is check throttle position percentages, maybe the fan temp kick on so forth and a few other localized parameters for optimization for whatever direction you are trying to go.Upon receiving a new bike, the first step Pathak takes is to put it on the dyno to get a baseline run. Step 2: TWIST and HOLD the throttle to the 100 wide open position and do not let go. Why it makes no sense at all to me why anyone would get a new bike toss the closed loop system then say "oh i need to get it mapped now" when the closed loop system does that for you on the fly at all times no matter where you are or what altitude? why you paid more money for the bike. these older bikes are open loop FI systems Ī "map" or reflashed ECU is a preset for whatever conditions and mods were on said bike where this map was developed, I've never seen these reflash guys ask what altitude do you want it flashed for what temp so on so forth, just mods and maybe eliminate this or increase RPM and advance timing whatever, crank fan on earlier. altitude, air temp so on so forth, also things like engine compression all that, very specific to said bike. A dyno tune will dial in the tune for wherever you are and your specific bike, mods and conditions whatever, conditions can be.
